Base Jumping is a leap off a 2.000 feet tall rock cliff or any other structure that is called "Base". Jumping off a base that is only 2.000 feet high means that a jumper has only several seconds before hitting the ground. A free fall is so short that a jumper has a few seconds to deploy a parachute.
