On the other hand, definitely music education enhances existing cognitive differences, that is, the difference in the perception and processing of incoming information by left and right hemispheres of the brain which are responsible for completely different talents.
Examined the 250,000 medical records of 18-19-year-old conscripts 1967-76 years of birth, Norwegian researchers found that the firstborn had IQ of 103 points on average, while the follow-brothers - all of 100 and 99 points. The advantage is not large, but the pattern was found constant, which allowed the judge that the older children in the family nominally intelligent than younger children.
