Tiny male anglerfish could get depressed about his size in the darkness of the deep ocean. He uses this as motivation. When it comes time to mate, the male swims up to much larger (and scary) female and gives her a special 'kiss of love'. Enzymes are secreted in the mouth, and they 'glued' him to her body.
