There are more deadly snake bites than bites of a viper, but viper bites are believed to be the most painful. Van Wallach who worked at the Museum of Comparative Zoology of Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, for many years, has had several viper bites: “It felt like somebody had a blowtorch and was burning the inside of your arm. It went on for three straight days before I had any relief.” Envenomation from a viper can also kill you, so it’s better to avoid vipers at all hazards.

Black Widow can deliver a bite which is the most painful in nature. Small black widows can’t deliver much venom so their bites are not so dangerous. Envenomation from a black widow can cause latrodectism, which involves pain, muscle rigidity, vomiting, and sweating.

Also known as the Halictidae, the sweat bees are a very large family. They are usually dark-colored and as a rule metallic in appearance. They are attracted by the moisture and salt in human sweat. The males cannot sting, only the females can do it.

These wasp-like ants have an orange-brown body around three millimeters in length and very big eyes. If this ant bites a man, the person feels a rare, piercing, elevated sort of pain like someone has fired a staple into his or her cheek.
