#2 – Digital immortality
The essence of this method is to transfer human consciousness into a computer and force it to exist and work outside of the brain. Environment functionally relevant to the human brain is necessary to use the loaded consciousness. The first steps on the way to it could be a detailed model of the brain on the computer and making external data into the genetic code of DNA. There are several research projects on the current computer model of the brain. Such work is carried out, for example, under the project Blue Brain Project and they are planned to be finished by 2023.
