If you believe that the series is based on real events, in 2006 in the small town of Fargo, Minnesota, there was something unbelievable and shocking. The show filmed in the genre of "black comedy", but there are no so much to laugh. Brutal Billy Bob Thornton, who played a cold-blooded killer Lorna Mavro, volunteered to help the underdog Lester (Martin Freeman). They wanted the best, but ended up with 3 murders, and that's just in the first series.
