Seychelles occupy an area of 455 sq. km, with a population of 84,000. The archipelago located north of Madagascar and consists of 115 Indian ocean islands. The islands have developed thanks for the export of coconut, vanilla and cinnamon. Tourism became the main source of country's income after the country gained independence in 1976.
