Vatican is a closed city-state located in one of the areas of Rome and covers an area of 44 hectares. It was founded in 1929 and is managed by the Pope. Vatican boasts the most beautiful buildings in the world - the Sistine Chapel, St. Peter's Basilica, the residence of the Pope - Apostolic Palace, etc. The Vatican gardens occupy half an area of the country. Vatican official citizens are about 800, and a few thousand Italians daily commute to work here.
