Scientists from the Research Institute of the NEC Princeton tried to refute the well-known fact that the speed of light in our Universe is maximized. They passed a laser beam through a chamber filled with a special gas, and the detected time. As it turned out, the beam has exceeded the speed of light 300 times. It left the chamber before it entered, which means the violation the law of cause and effect. The researchers explained that this law is not technically violated because the future of the beam had no effect on past events.
