This bronze head was sculpted by Alberto Giacometti in 1954. If you look at the sculpture from the side, the head and face look quite normal, but try to look at it from the front and you will hardly distinguish the face features of this sculpture. From the front it looks more like a knife edge. In 2010 the sculpture was put on auction and purchased by an anonymous collector for $52.3 million.
