Mehran Nasseri or “Sir Alfred”!
This story started in 1986 when Mehran Nasseri - a refugee from Iran decided to migrate to Britain. Mehran's documents were stolen at the airport in Paris. A refugee without passport and home country waiting for him, was not allowed to leave the territory of the airport. This red bench became his home for almost 18 years. Mehran Nasseri left the airport in 2006, when he was hospitalized.
