British researcher and former captain of the British Army became the first person in the world who walked along the Amazon River. Thriving ending of walking expedition lasting 859 days, inspired him to experiment - to become a resident of an uninhabited island. Without tools, items of clothing, he was trying to survive on the island of Fiji during 60 days. He has documented on camera the life on the island. How he managed to stay on the island, and some survival skills he used, can be seen in the movie channel Discovery “bare survival."
