In the 1970s in South Africa a government project "Aversion Project" under the leadership of Audrey Levine were held in order to treat homosexuals from their homosexual questionable methods. Several hundred people were selected from men and women who were diagnosed with homosexuality. Among the treatments electric shocks, chemical castration and forced change of orientation were used. All of these experiments were put on people without their consent. Those who have gone through sex reassignment surgery, returned to the army.
