This is the famous mummy of girl 14-15 years old, which was sacrificed more than 500 years ago. It was discovered in 1999 on the slopes of the volcano Llullaillaco, 22,100 feet above sea level. The girl was suffering from an illness similar to tuberculosis when she was sacrificed.
