Located in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, the Presidential Palace is the office and eventual official residence of the President of Lithuania. The construction of the building started in the 14th century but it was not completely finished until the first part of the 19th century. The Presidential Palace has been rebuilt many times since then. In 1997, the building became the official office and residence of the President of Lithuania.
