Everything is fine and very touching in this movie. A mother (Meryl Streep) left the family and went to an unknown destination. A father (Dustin Hoffman) is left alone with his young son. How to dress a child? How to take care of the son? Previously, he didn't worry about these issues, but now they've emerged full blown.
During a half of the film, father and son learn to live together. And when everything is getting better, the mother comes back to deprive the father of parental rights and take son away.
