Located in Turkey, this cemetery was discovered in Ephesus, Turkey. The Gladiator Graveyard contains the mixed remains of about 67 ancient gladiators. According to artefacts, gladiator fights took place in Ephesus since 69 BC, they were professional athletes under the age of 30, who ate a vegetarian diet and drank ashes as calcium supplement.
