In Ancient Egypt nobility were buried in the pyramids with burial goods ranging from everyday objects to the most expensive items such as jewelry. The Ancient Egyptians believed the dead would use it in the afterlife.
#8 – Sultan of Egypt
In the 12th century, there was an attempt to destroy the Giza pyramids by Al-Aziz, a Kurdish ruler and the second Ayyubid Sultan of Egypt. They tried to demolish fascinating sculptures but finally they had to give up because the task was sophisticated.

Imhotep, an Ancient Egyptian polymath, engineer and physician, was the first known pyramid architect. He is considered the author of the Pyramid of Djoser, the first major pyramid in the world.
#6 – Climate
Despite the enormous heat outside, the temperature inside the pyramids is around 20 Celsius (60 F).
