Scientists at Carnegie Mellon University recently conducted a study to calculate how long it takes for the average PC user to read all the conditions of the privacy policy when you install a standard package work programs.
The researchers found that on average, these documents consist of 2514 words. Then they have added time required, not only to read the document, but also to understand its meaning. The results were a little bit anxious.
On average, the process of familiarization and understanding of the privacy policy document takes about 76 working days. Thus, 15 weeks should be devoted to studying the relationship of a company to your personal information.
