Zagreb consists of two parts - the Upper part of the city and the Lower part. The Upper part is the medieval center of the city, here are a lot of historic sites; the Lower part is a modern district with a tall buildings and gardens.
The Lotrscak Tower is an amazing place where you can see the panoramic view of the capital; the Ban Jelacic Square, which combines several architectural styles - art nouveau, classicism, baroque; the St. Mark's Church with a mosaic roof; the Mirogoj Cemetery - the most beautiful cemetery in Europe etc.
