The essence of this method lies in growing new organs from stem cells of the patient, followed by replacement of worn-out parts of the body. At the clinics, it is learned successfully do it with only a few not very complicated organs: trachea, esophagus, blood vessels, but the animal experiments are encouraging. Experts dream that someday the need for organ transplantation will disappear: we’ll be able to update them using their own stem cells directly inside the body.
