The immortal jellyfish, also known as Turritopsis nutricula, is the only living organism on Earth that has achieved some kind of "immortality". Marine scientists found out that the jellyfish is able to revert back to a juvenile form once it mates after becoming sexually mature, and so in this way it can potentially live forever. It's the only known creature capable of reverting completely to its younger.
