As it turned out, in the country where about 29.5 million people live, bribes are the only way to get proper medical care, well-paying job or resolve issues in state institutions. In addition, in this country informal "influence" on the officials isn't considered a criminal offense. In Uzbekistan, the courts themselves are corrupted that makes the fight against corruption impossible.
