Swedes live an average of 81.8 years. Currently the retirement age for men and women is 65 years. Already more than 25 percent of the population of this country is already aged 60 years or over. The interesting fact is that only 4.1 percent of Swedish pensioners live with their adult children. This is one of the lowest index in the world.
