The most populous China city is object of pilgrimage for many tourists. There are a lot of world-class hotels, restaurants and stores, which includes The Peninsula Shanghai. It is the best hotel in the world for business travelers. In these latter days the biggest museums are opened here with regular periodicity (two large state art museums in November 2012 and few important cultural institutes, such as Rockbund and Minsheng). Shanghai is a good place to go shopping in numerous fashionable hypermarkets.
