#6 – Ostrich
One of the fastest Sahara Desert animals!
Ostrich is almost as fast as gazelle and can run at a speed of forty miles per hour. This sturdy animal can walk long ways across the desert. When attacked, ostrich does not hide head into the sand, on the contrary it fights back, kicking with its strong, long legs.
