About 500 years before the Yuan Dynasty, China was controlled by the Tang Dynasty. Lushan, a general from the north of China, decided to seize power and declared himself emperor (a creation of China Yuan Dynasty). Lushan Rebellion lasted from 763 to 755, and in the end Yang dynasty defeated by the Tang Empire. Millions of people were killed, and the Tang dynasty haven’t recover from the war effects.
