Young model, Mademoiselle Geoffre, who wished to improve the look of her unbecoming legs, was operated by Charles Dujarier in 1926. The operation was an accident.
Amputation of the operated leg was required.
The outcome of the lawsuit was severe for Dujarier. He was required to pay 200,000 francs compensation.
