Baikal is the deepest freshwater lake in the world. Visit it in winter and you'll be one of the lucky ones who were lucky enough to see the supernatural miracle of nature. In the cold months Baikal freezes and you can see an incredible ice faults and irregularities. These broken ice has really magnificent turquoise color and looks like shards of glass that burst out of the lake. Baikal is one of the largest and deepest lakes in the world. Also, here is one-fifth of all freshwater in the world.
