The Museum of asphalt is located in Sacramento, California. It was founded in 1991 by two students from the State University of Colorado. The museum's collection consists of samples of famous and not so roads and highways, such as the Appian Way in Rome, highway Rogers (or "Main Street of America") and the California highway SR1.
