Bea Johnson, a Frenchwoman who lives in California, decided the pollution problem for herself in surprisingly simple manner. Once she has made a choice and for all gave up things that can not then be disposed of on her own - from products in disposable packaging, household chemicals in plastic bottles and lots of unnecessary things. Thus, now a family of 4 members produces no more than liter cans of garbage a year.
