To rush into burning buildings in order to save people is certainly a noble pursuit. Firefighters come face to face dangerous situations on a daily basis. Although they receive extensive training, where the profession are taught to cope with emergencies and to act in the face of danger, the work of fire is unpredictable and the risk of injury and death is very high.
