In the XVI century vice-king of Peru kept in his office a piece of rock, which clung to 18-inch steel nail found in the local mining. Skeptics believe that the appearance of this and many other things can be explained by natural causes: a special kind of mineral crystallization solutions and melts, the formation of pyrite cores in the interstices between the crystals.
